As one clever short-vid stated:

Put ten men and a hundred women on a tropical island. A century later you will find a community of men, women, boys and girls.

Put ten men and a hundred trans women on a tropical island. A century later you will find 110 male skeletons.

The word is "continuum."

♪ ♫ Please allow me to introduce myself. ♪ ♫ My name is as given, I am American, I live in Vietnam, I am gay and in a same-sex marriage, I am a computer programmer (servers) and technical writer and a musician/composer. Classical guitar, flutes, synthesizers. Environmentalist, misanthrope.

I was attracted to this site by the little logo at the top left with the Ever-Growing Acronym chopped off before the fucking T. LGB. No TQIA+[this space reserved for future grievances].

Gender is not a continuum. Yes, I am a wordcop, both with respect to vocabulary and grammar. The singular "they" is a hill I am willing to die on; I don't like "reaching out" or "moving forward," I don't like ask and reveal as nouns nor target and impact as verbs. Unique means singular, not distinctive.

I have known real transgender men (that means biological men, not "trans" men), been umm intimate with two of them, botth before the "trans" fad. I can do arithmetic and know that there are five thousand transgender people in the USA, not five million. The real ones have my support, the other 99.9% can find themselves a short pier.

But even so, one in a thousand "trans" is real, the same is not true of "nonbinary, which is a complete crock of shit.

Do you see what I just did? I tied it back to the thread topic.
