Canadian Mounties Blame Mass Shooting On Random Gunperson, Pronouns Bang/Bang
Gaslighting may have even contributed to the death toll

Jesse Van Rootselaar, a 17-year-old transgender-identified man who also went by Jesse Strang, killed nine people and wounded 25 yesterday in one of the worst mass shootings in Canadian history.
Van Rootselaar reportedly killed his gender-affirming mother and 11 year-old brother before entering Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia to continue his murder spree. He then took his own life.
Because he identified as transgender, Van Rootselaar was initially described as a “woman in a dress” in emergency police warnings to shelter in place. Resulting confusion may have added to the toll of deaths and injuries. Don’t hold your breath waiting for accountability on this one.
Speaking to reporters remotely in the immediate aftermath of the shootings, Staff Sgt. Kris Clark of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police referred to Van Rootselaar as a “gunperson” and refused to share his name for “privacy reasons”.
In a press conference later, Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald confirmed that Van Rootselaar began his ‘transition’ at the age of 12. Answering a reporter’s question with male pronouns, McDonald replied that Van Rootselaar was “female” because “we identify the suspect as they chose to be identified in public and on social media.”
Early reports indicate that Van Rootselaar was a troubled boy. Police visited his home frequently during his mental health crises and self-harm episodes. “I believe [he] had a license which had expired in 2024”, McDonald told reporters. “[He] did not have any firearms registered to [him]”.
A video posted to his now-deleted Reddit account, jesseboy347, shows him firing a Desert Eagle at a gun range. Another video shows Van Rootselaar laughing and crying maniacally in a closet.
While the guns in his home are reportedly part of the small-town hunting culture that he lived in, Van Rootselaar clearly should have been denied access to them. According to The New York Post, which blessedly has no time for pronouns, firearms were seized from the home two years ago, but were returned to the lawful owner, who police did not identify.
“It’s too early to say” whether genderwoo played any role in the tragedy, McDonald said. Gender-affirming media platforms immediately cast the motive as unknown and mysterious, then avoided mentioning the identity, sex, or ‘gender identity’ of the shooter.
Van Rootselaar had been taken into custody for mental health assessments before. Diagnostic overshadowing, in which clinicians treat the ‘gender’ of a person instead of their co-morbid mental health problems, is common in youth cases and very highly likely in this case.
We are told that the Jesse Van Rootselaars of the world will commit suicide unless we give them what they want. Turns out that you can never be kind enough to a narcissist, while the urge to self-harm can be an urge to harm others. No one bullied this man into what he became. Stop telling psychotic boys they are special and pretty. It is not a kindness. It makes them into monsters.

The minute I read about this school shooting by a “woman in a dress”, I knew it was a trans identifying man. Women rarely commit these kinds of gun crimes while men (whatever they choose to call themselves ) do all the time.
"gunperson" 💀💀💀
