Discussing 'Parents With Inconvenient Truths About Trans' With 'A Slightly Twisted Female'
A new book that will make history
“Being a parent is ‘conversion therapy’ now,” I told Brittney Rouxx today. Going by the moniker Slightly Twisted Female, Rouxx is one of the women who turned up last Friday to protest the American Civil Liberties Union with me. (I’ll have more to say about that later this week.) She is a fierce advocate for mothers and children with a background in radicalism — and now, one of many Americans feeling a new distance from where they had stood in the left-right political discourse even just a few years ago.
We were discussing Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans: Tales from the Home Front in the Fight to Save Our Kids, a new volume produced by the PITT parents, with proceeds going to Genspect. I have been a subscriber to the Substack since it began. When I met Brittney last Friday, I mentioned that I was preparing to review the book for The Distance and that I should like to help publicize it further on YouTube channels. Brittney was intrigued and agreed to help spread the word.
We had a great discussion today about this book. Everyone in the broader ‘gender critical’ space will find something that resonates with their own experiences, even if they have no children. As we discussed in these three 40-minute YouTube streams, the gender cult (yes, cult) rubs everyone wrong eventually because it is a cult. We also discussed history, and how this book fits on the shelf of books about the reaction to ‘gender identity,’ and why everyone fighting this ideology should consider themselves a primary source for future historical research.

Did your presence at the ACLU provoke that horrid woman posing as queer lawyer man Chase Strangio into making an appearance? Did she have her trademark bed-head hairdo? Did she come clean on her agenda of queering all of humanity?
