South Carolina became the 25th state to ban some part of the pediatric sex lobotomy process for children on Tuesday. “Legal experts tell me they expect the U.S. Supreme Court probably will rule on the constitutionality of these laws in June 2026,” reporter Benjamin Ryan notes on the X app.
He includes the above map. Leaving aside the details of each state’s current political and legal landscape, here is what happens when we transpose the above map onto the Electoral College map using the website 270toWin. Bear in mind that this does not quite match current presidential polling. I am merely drawing an analogy here.
As you can see, the half of the states which have taken some action against sex lobotomies for kids do not quite add up to half of the Electoral College votes, at least not yet. It would be 26 states, and a tighter race, if not for Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto. If an honest ballot on the topic was held in California this November, we would be inaugurating a notional “President End Sex Lobotomy For Kids” next January.
Put another way, the “red states” are just about exhausted, so sex realist organizers must now focus on persuading blue states to reassess the pediatric sex lobotomy craze if there is to be any further political progress. The easy part of this is over. Now the real work begins.
