When the “curriculum liberation” fad arrived at her department, law lecturer Almut Gadow started asking questions about the new speech codes. The Open University responded to her questions about “LGBTQ+” by silencing and then firing her.
Gadow recently reached a settlement with the institution. Three other Open University faculty have won or settled employment litigation related to the imposition of gender ideology. They are criminology professor Jo Phoenix, PhD student Pilgrim Tucker, and philosophy professor Jon Pike, a specialist in sports ethics.
