At least as far as has been publicized since the 1970s when Boston Children's Hospital's doctor Donald Allen was exposed as part of a pedophile ring uncovered in Revere Massachusetts. That incident marked the origin of GLAAD whose lawyers formed a team to protect the group of well-heeled men (one a Harvard professor, another the head master of Fessenden Private Boys School and Rich Peluso, et al).

Then there was the case of Justina Pelletier the girl they mis-diagnosed and held hostage from her parents for a year, while her condition worsened. There were others who I saw mention of on Neighborhood Internet like the man whose son was held and his father was refused visitation. Dr Melvin Levine was reputed to have molested hundreds of little boys at Boston Children's Hospital, then he relocated in the South. His colleagues always exonerated him. When he was called back to Boston for trial he killed himself. Rabbi Stanley Levitt also molested kids at Boston Children's Hospital and they knew he was a problem before they hired him.
Delivering a victim-impact statement before the sentencing, Brecher said Levitt groped him while Brecher was recovering at BOSTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL after part of his finger was sliced off in a classroom door.
“As I lay helpless in a hospital bed, traumatized already by the events of that day, he affected my spiritual, psychological and, I believe, physical life and growth profoundly,’’ said Brecher, who added that he has suffered from severe depression since the encounter nearly 40 years ago
He should have served jail time,’’ said Michael Brecher, who along with the two other former students at the Maimonides School, an Orthodox Jewish school, said that Levitt touched him sexually when he was a sixth-grader.
"Children's never took any action regarding Dr. Levine," Durso said. "They let him continue to be at the hospital and continue to sexually abuse the children there."

On December 8, 1977, Garrett Byrne, district attorney (DA) from Suffolk County, which includes all of Boston and three smaller surrounding communities in Massachusetts, called a press conference to announce the indictment of 24 men on multiple charges of statutory rape involving boys ages eight to thirteen.
Dr. Donald Allen was charged with four counts of fellating a fifteen-year-old male hustler. Although he was ultimately convicted, the judge sentenced him to just five years probation - a signal to the other defendants, most of whom settled with a plea bargain and received light probation. (Cohen)
Although many wanted the Boston sex scandal to quietly disappear, it is not without legacies. While conducting legal research on Age of Consent laws, a subcommittee of the B/BC (Boston Boise Committee)sponsored what turned out to be the first meeting of NAMBLA on December 2, 1978

Yes, Children's Hospital is very hard for parent's to fight against if they don't want you to have access to your loved one/child. If you remember the case of Justina Pelletier who Children's Hospital misdiagnosed her mitochondrial disease, kept her from her parents for months, made accusations of Munchausen's as her condition grew worse - almost destroyed the family. They sued Children's Hospital, but lost to Children's powerful legal team. In another case Children's Hospital head of emergency Dept.Dr. Melvin Levine was credibly accused of child sexual abuse for years and covered up by the Hospital, ditto for Rabbi Stanley Levitt who got off with probation after abusing several boys. The powerful seem to often get away without legal accountability . Having been a human rights advocate at a hospital I've seen some instances. I don't know what to suggest except to possibly try to get in touch with Justina Pelletier's parents or their lawyers to get some advice or suggestions.
