Great job! We need more of this! Hearing it in the parents' own words is so helpful.
Next time, I suggest Matt (or whoever the first male voice was, he didn't identify himself) and the other host(s) spend some time preparing and coordinating with each other beforehand, and thinking about what you want to say :-)
Have someone do a general intro first. No one seemed to know what was going on.
Just remember it's for a more general audience. Pretend you're explaining it to a good friend who knows very little. Remember to avoid jargon, use plain language. *And remember to say what state you're in (or at least whether it's blue red or purple) and how old your kid is*.
The music is by William Ferguson. I was the host. We held these first two spaces as impromptu affairs because the parents were brand-new to the platform and everyone was getting their "sea legs." Future recordings will be more organized.
