After six years of delays resulting from his mental health evaluation, Dana Rivers will finally face trial this week for the brutal murders of his neighbors Patricia Wright, Charlotte Reed, and their adopted son Toto Diambu aka Benny Diambu-Wright (see photo) in 2016.
Observers have suspected that the material facts of the case were too politically incorrect for prosecution in California. At long last, a prosecutor will have to lay out the facts of the case and explain why it was not enough for Rivers to destroy the Michfest music festival that the lesbian couple had loved, such that he felt compelled to take their lives as well.
Celebrated as a trans rights activist before his arrest, Rivers was reportedly found covered in his victims’ blood after stabbing and shooting them, then setting their house on fire.
BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN-DEEP: Women don’t enjoy watching two men discuss how to be a beautiful woman. Someone in the marketing department at Ulta Beauty thought it was a good idea, for some reason, so hashtags such as #womanface have been trending since this was posted on Thursday.

I am not sure just how Dylan Mulvaney cosplayed his inner bimbo to internet fame, since he seems to have no talent for anything except enraging people who aren’t sexist pigs. Perhaps the inimitable Mandy Stadtmiller will explain this unsolved mystery in a Substack post soon?

THE INEVITABLE HAPPENS: A North Carolina girl is recovering from “severe head and neck injuries, resulting in long-term concussion symptoms, including vision problems” after a transgender-identified male player spiked the ball onto her head. The Cherokee County Board of Education has canceled all remaining games against Highlands High School, with one board member citing “a coach of 40 years said they’d never seen a hit like this.”
TWITTER HATES WOMEN: Maya Forstater remains locked out of her Twitter account today because the social media platform provides a heckler’s veto against child safeguarding information. One of these days, somewhere that has laws about these things, the blue bird app will get held accountable for punishing views that are worthy of respect in a democratic society, and someone like Maya is going to do it.
LISTENING POST: Brandon Showalter of The Christian Post has started a podcast series, “Generation Indoctrination,” which will examine “the roots and impact of the transgender debate.” My own politics are pretty much opposite to his, but that is why I value his perspective. We are not going to slay this dragon with political purity spirals.
THE GOOD LAUGH PROJECT: Jolyon Maugham is the worst lawyer in the world. He has succeeded in destroying Mermaids by trying to destroy the LGB Alliance, and now his effort to have the British UN human rights watchdog demoted to the status of Bahrain on behalf of Stonewall has been rejected. The petitioners “complained that the EHRC had issued guidance stating that bodies such as the NHS can legally maintain single-sex wards and separate male and female lavatories.”

LITERAL MURDER: Leicestershire, UK police embarrassed themselves with an ad inviting people to report “misgendering” as a hate crime.
The graphic featured a photo of a man with long, blond hair, and a quote which read: “I get called by my previous male name on purpose, but that’s not who I am. it can be really hurtful, especially when it’s just seen as a joke.” The quote and photo were attributed to “Jane, 57” of Hinckley.
Despite purporting to depict a real member of the community, “Jane” is in fact a stock image model who has appeared in dozens of licensable photos across popular stock image websites.
TRANSWIDOWS PEAK: This selection from a new memoir of life with an AGP male is a blistering read.
“But you don’t think of me as a woman.”
You’re right. But I can’t help what I think. And I don’t think rewiring my brain is a reasonable goal for you. I think respecting each other, in all our difference, should be our goal. I don’t say this; honesty too often rankles you now. But I’m not giving up on honesty. If I can’t speak with you frankly, but compassionately, then we no longer have a relationship to save. I don’t like the way lies feel in my mouth.
LEGAL EAGLES: The attorneys of Jackson Bone LLP, America’s very first GC law firm, explain the legal landscape to Benjamin Boyce.
