Grok AI image of Kamala Harris questioning her life choices. Democrats have no uniting figure to lead them and they avoid open intra-party conflicts

Democrats are at war over the future of the party, making them even more resistant to hearing concerns about their sacred progressive cows, such as ‘gender identity’ ideology. From Washington, DC to Maine to Colorado to California, Democrats have doubled-down on imposing the genderwoo program from the top, wherever they have power. This virtue-signalling is oppositional to Donald Trump, for Democrats lack a consensus leader and the one thing they can agree on is opposing him.

However, it was Trump’s expansive gains with voters, winning the popular vote, that broke Democrats last November. The party experienced several demographic slips — black voters, Hispanic voters, male voters, non-college women — but the one which set off the loudest alarm bells is the drop from Biden’s 2020 margin of 25 points with young voters to just four points in 2024. The supposed inevitability of the rising progressive generation has been a key Democratic Party demographic assumption for decades, so its disappearance is terrifying.

“When we said women were leaving the party over this treatment, he said ‘Good. Leave. Go.’ Then he threw us out of his office.”

Intra-party feuding over David Hogg’s vice-chairmanship at the DNC is emblematic of the dilemma. He wants to run primary opponents (read: young people) against incumbent Democrats in safe seats (the olds), replacing those establishment leaders with ardent progressives. The dismal 2024 performance of Kamala Harris, and the unravelling cover-up of Joe Biden’s deteriorating state, have meanwhile inspired new distrust of the party establishment in many Democrats. This is expressing across the spectrum of liberal discourse. For example, former White House spokesunit Jen Psaki says that she “never met” the Joe Biden who appeared on the debate stage, but viewers clearly don’t believe her, because Psaki has lost the half the audience in her time slot at MSNBC.

This crisis of credibility explains why Sen. John Fetterman’s chief of staff Jason Smith “mocked a rape survivor, said we were lying that there are men in women's prisons, and lying that lesbians need female-only spaces,” as radical feminist Julia Hing reported on X recently. Voicing his total denialism, Smith “said people talking to him about aliens made more sense. When we said women were leaving the party over this treatment, he said ‘Good. Leave. Go.’ Then he threw us out of his office.”

Democrats are throwing away votes because they cannot impose the genderwoo litany through democratic process anymore. To allow a debate on ‘self-ID,’ or males in female sports, or rapists in women’s prisons, would be to destroy the authority and integrity of the Democratic Party — just as the party is sharpening knives to fight each other.
