Last Friday night, The Distance editor Matt Osborne hosted a space on X/Twitter to discuss our coverage of Jon Uhler, which is embedded below. Brandon Showalter of the Christian Post revealed his own experience looking into Uhler’s background as a reporter and the embarrassment of having to unpublish a story based on Uhler’s supposed expertise. Unexpectedly, and without prompting, two complete strangers popped into the space and described red flags they had observed interacting with Uhler. It’s not just us. They can see it, too.
