History consists of people in motion. As part of my historiographical research into the ‘gender critical’ moment, I have walked alongside ‘Billboard Chris’ Elston outside Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, participated in a women’s free speech event, and attended two Genspect conferences as well as the recent Federal Trade Commission workshop in Washington, DC. This Sunday, I hustled over to the Moscone Center in San Francisco to document a group called Democrats with an Informed Approach to Gender sharing their message with the annual meeting of the Endocrine Society.
I was only able to arrive after lunch, unfortunately, the result of a mild covid spell which ensued from last week’s airline journey. So I missed the LGB Courage Coalition team. I have already met Corinna Cohn, a disappointed trasnssexual, and Jamie Reed, both warriors, at Genspect. Reed was on the whistleblower panel at the FTC workshop. Both of them have been tireless in their travels and testimony. Neither of them is remotely right wing or evangelical in orientation. They are focused on the harms that so-called ‘gender medicine’ works on the bodies of children.
The political agendas were happening inside the conference.
LGB Courage Coalition “expresses grave concerns about certain presentations scheduled for ENDO 2025 that appear to normalize or downplay the risks of irreversible medical interventions for minors or focus on expanding interventions without sufficient caution,” reads their pre-conference press release. Side effects, the sheer insanity of medicalizing ‘nonbinary identities’, bone loss in “eunuch individuals” — these are political projects masquerading as medicine, but also subjects of panels in an ostensibly-scientific conference.
Same-sex attracted people, parents with children groomed by the cult of transgender ideation, detransitioners, and disappointed Democrats all held signs and had conversations with the doctors at the conference in San Francisco. As can be seen in the video, opposition did appear throughout the two-day event. However, the response was overwhelmingly positive or interested, according to all reports this correspondent has recieved. The tide is turning.
When I accompanied Billboard Chris past the front of the hospital in Nashville in 2022, a nurse in scrubs made excuse to walk past us so she could say “thank you” in a terrified whisper. The tide is turning.
The Cult Of The 'Trans Child' Is Doomed
It was a casual conversation with a security guard during the first break, in the middle of the morning session, that convinced me we have reached the beginning of the end.
