Timothy McBride Is The Real Victim Here

Democrats rally behind pediatric 'gender medicine' fraud

Yes, I am deadnaming ‘Sarah’ McBride, the representative from Delaware. Rep. McBride was a 21-year-old man when he decided to ‘become a woman’ 15 years ago. There was never a magical woman named Sarah inside Timothy, waiting to be liberated from her flesh-suit. Instead, McBride had an experience of late adolescent gender dysphoria and became one of the two types of adult male transsexual in Ray Blanchard’s typology. Shame is bound up in McBride’s performance of ‘woman’ and avoidance of that shame is paramount to his psychology, so he reimagines his past as a journey to the present conversion-state the same way a new member of any religion does. This quasi-spiritual phenomenon has been observed in such men since the moment scientific observations were kept. They tell us they were always like this because it is easier than admitting what they really are.

“If I had come out four or five years before I did, if I had had the courage to come out a little bit earlier, my parents would have done the exact same thing that they did when I came out to them at 21”, McBride told reporters this week. “They would have gone and talked, first, to their pastor and, second, to a health care professional,” he said, naming two professions currently captured by genderwoo. “They would have supported me, which means that this bill would have imprisoned my parents if I had come out just a little bit earlier.” Timmy McBride is the real victim here, see. A bill to stop parents from chemically and/or surgically sterilizing their children for social credit is an attack on his freedom to ‘become a woman’. See how that works?

We hear a lot of whining from Democrats right now about parental rights. That concern will immediately disappear as soon as any parent opposes their child being groomed into lifelong medicalization. In states that Democrats control, and school districts where Democrats are in charge, saying ‘no’ to a minor who wants hormones is legal grounds for CPS to seize the child, while objecting to the opposite sex in your locker room is a hate crime. Teachers and faculty who groom minors into their cult of self-harm are protected by the system, while parents find the police are no help. A red carpet of nonprofit agency services is rolled out to assist the minor in running away from home so that their inner gender-gremlin can be properly appeased with the sacrifice of their healthy body. This is reflexive. Democrats will not even think about it.

House Republicans spent a year getting the Protect Children’s Innocence Act passed. Four of them defected, in part because of McBride’s “quiet” lobbying. House Republicans should spend the next year pushing that parents’ bill of rights, so that Democrats can flip on a dime before our eyes to declare that parents are the very last people who should ever decide whether their own child needs a sex change. America must have the opportunity to watch as Timothy McBride holds another press conference and declares that his parents should have been forced to support his ‘transition’ at gunpoint. We all need to see this happen, to compare and contrast, so that everyone can understand what is really going on with ‘Sarah’ McBride and the Democrats so eagerly inscribing their politics on the bodies of kids. The truth is not pretty and it will eventually be made plain. They are ghouls. That is the truth.

Democrats have ‘the narrative’ to uphold. They know, by now, that the Cass Review found the scientific evidence for these interventions has always been weak. They know ‘sex changes for kids’ is a very unpopular public policy position. But they think they can spin the whole thing using the same talking points that TERFs encountered in 2019: this ‘care’ is ‘medically necessary’, the science has been ‘settled’, the government should not get in between a family and a doctor. These are all empty words, but Democrats remain convinced that words are magic. If they say the lies firmly enough, often enough, we will all believe they are true. A strategy of denial relies on things to stay the same, and never change. But changes are happening.

Yesterday, the Department of Health and Human Services held a press conference, “Protecting Children from Sex-Rejecting Procedures”. Six policy changes were announced to rein in the Wild West behavior of the pediatric genderwoo industry. As The Free Press reported earlier this month, clinicians with WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, have recorded themselves admitting there really are no ‘standards’ to what they do, that they really just make it up as they go. Children who want to look like Barbie dolls, to have their sex organs removed before they are old enough to have sex, receive attention, encouragement, and, they hope, satisfaction with their appearance. From the very beginning of the pediatric patent gender medicine cult in the United States, its practitioners have been very open about their keen focus on altering the bodies of children to achieve the best cosmetic results possible. They have always known that what they are doing is fundamentally fraud, and the HHS presser was an announcement that they are cutting off the fraud.

Hospitals will lose federal funding and CHIP insurance funding if they host harmful gender quackery. Companies that manufacture breast binders are on notice that their products are never to be marketed to kids. Gender dysphoria will no longer be considered a ‘disability’ that allows anyone to claim discrimination because a child has been denied life-altering medicalization. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. signed an order that such regimes “do not meet professionally recognized standards of health care”. All of this is contested truth, that is, true things that Democrats will naysay because they have been programmed with the opposite talking points. That these truths come from him merely makes it easier for Democrats to ignore reality and double-down on unpopular ideas.

Democrats are defaulting to ideology across the board. Ken Martin, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, has decided that looking backwards at the mistakes of 2024 will be “a distraction from the core mission”, after all, according to The New York Times. Democrats are eager to move on and pretend nothing is wrong with the hills they have decided to die on, among them ‘trans kids’. Democratic researcher Simon Bazelon calls the retreat from accountability “a broader problem within the party, which is we are scared of ever making anybody in our coalition upset”. Public approval of the Democratic Party is at an all-time low, despite their fervent and total opposition to Trump. Their solution is to do #Resistance harder, hope the economy stutters, and run against Trump in the midterm next year.

Predictably, the alphabetical mafia reacted badly to the HHS announcement. Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign, immediately cried wolf, saying that “these rules aim to completely cut off medically necessary care from children” while the new HHS rules are “proposals, not binding law”, a rather odd description of federal regulatory powers. Jamilla Perritt, a reproductive rights leader in the age of genderborg capture, wailed that “lives are inevitably on the line”. The terrorists will win unless we stop the evolved human life cycle in its tracks, pronto.

But this is not what will happen.

Kennedy expressed confidence that HRC and like organizations will sue to stop the changes, and that HHS will win the litigation and enact them anyway. This scenario will happen. The Supreme Court keeps knocking down federal #Resistance judges who make #NoKings rulings, they just upheld state bans on pediatric gender mangling in Skrmetti, and the Hecox case this year began with a brief that argued puberty blockers make it fair for boys to cheat at girls’ sports, so we may see the Court concretize their limits even further. The majority is clearly annoyed at how the advocacy organizations and the Biden administration have tried to misapply Bostock. Perhaps they will speak more clearly and forcefully during oral arguments in 2026.

With the court making its direction clear, state attorneys general are moving in for the kill. Here is James Uthmeier, the Florida AG, announcing recently that he is suing WPATH, the Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics for allegedly misleading public opinion.

In his brief, he notes the fact that “there is no credible evidence that sex interventions alleviate pediatric gender dysphoria.” Because there was never any evidence for the existence of the ‘trans child’ in the first place, the three organizations “built a façade of legitimacy” through circular citations. Anyone who has kept abreast of the medical scientific literature in this debate will already know this has been going on. The news here is that a prosecutor is using the words “fraud”, “fraudulent practices”, “false pretenses”, “crimes”, and “racketeering”. Fines and prison are primarily a worry for the doctors who tell parents their child will unalive themselves without regular injections of dangerous, expensive chemicals. “Insurance data shows that, as of 2022, sex intervention was a $4.1 billion industry”, reads Uthmeier’s brief. “Studies forecast that revenues will reach $8 billion by 2030.” That is a lot of potential fraud.

Texas AG Ken Paxton has also filed healthcare fraud litigation against two doctors for defrauding Medicaid to perform sex lobotomies on children. One of them, May Lau, has already surrendered her medical license.

New evidence gathered by the Office of the Attorney General shows that there were deliberate efforts to conceal illegal activity by falsifying records, altering diagnosis codes, and submitting deceptive billing information, which is conduct that supports new healthcare fraud claims. By submitting deceptive billing records, Lau and Cooper were able to conceal the “gender transition” interventions and secure Medicaid reimbursement for services that Texas law and Texas Medicaid explicitly do not allow.

Again, this will not surprise regular readers of The Distance. Dr. Eithan Haim explained to us how this fraud works on the podcast. He also testified at the Federal Trade Commission hearing earlier this year. We can expect the FTC to crack down on fraudulent practices within their domain in the new year. HHS has already cut off the American Academy of Pediatrics from millions of dollars in grants. CEO and executive VP Mark Del Monte told The Washington Post that AAP will sue. “The sudden withdrawal of these funds will directly impact and potentially harm infants, children, youth, and their families in communities across the United States”, he warned, but of course the cure is the actual disease, so this is not what will happen at all. There will not be a wave of suicides or deaths from lack of access to carcinogenic cross-sex hormones or the absence of crunchy bones from puberty blockers that results from this policy change. The AAP will not succeed on the merits, because HHS is correct that “identity-based language” like “pregnant people” does not belong in federal research funding.

Genderwoo must always take hostages, and Del Monte deplores the lost funding for various worthy research endeavors, including “early identification of autism”. Set aside the Tylenol question, reader. Autism is the second most common comorbid condition with youthful gender dysphoria, accounting for almost 40 percent of cases seen at the UK Tavistock GIDS. Just this week, I reviewed a book by an autistic woman who was ‘affirmed’ and approved for hormones when she developed dysphoria in her early 30s. She cured herself with non-medical means, underlining just how insane medicalized gender dysphoria in youth really is. The hostage research does not justify AAP participating in patent medical fraud. Early identification of autism has never once stopped any gender clinician from winging it, anyway.

The hits keep coming. Trump’s ban on transgender military service was upheld by a federal appeals court and will likely ultimately stand. As litigation exposes criminal fraud to daylight, verdicts come down, and convictions and judgments pile up, Democrats will still be singing the same song they were seven years ago, when TERFs confronted McBride at the Cannon House Office Building. He was a professional LGBTQMOUSE activist lobbying Congress to support pediatric “gender medicine” fraud. He is still that same lobbyist.

Kara Dansky, an American radical feminist, was also on Capitol Hill lobbying for the Women’s Liberation Front. She was accompanied by Julia Long and Kellie-Jay Keen aka Posie Parker. When they learned that McBride was present, they decided to stop by the room he was in and ask a few questions that were inspired by a detransitioned young woman with a double mastectomy they had just met. McBride “could not even turn around to make a single expression of sympathy”, Dansky wrote at the WoLF website, “not even to issue a fig leaf of sorry-you-feel-that-way concern.”

He knows. He doesn’t care. The health and well-being of children does not matter to him. The lives of women forced to share prisons with men are just collateral damage to the ‘human rights’ agenda that gives him psychological validation as anything but a fey man. The encounter was recorded and spliced with a video of McBride as a young fey man.

At most, Democrats might retake control of the House of Representatives and let McBride back into the women’s restroom next year. They will not have any power to reverse the actions of the FTC and HHS and state AGs and the Supreme Court. Their politics are lagging far behind the culture and the courts. It will be one of the chief contrasts that Democrats draw with their Republican opponents, who will try to punish them with ads on TV and digital. Democrats would like to move on from all things transgender, but they cannot. The new year will not let them, so they revert to the factory setting that McBride gave them seven years ago. They can only make a moral argument that is doomed to fade as the slow process of justice grinds away. They do not have another script than to tell us McBride is the real victim, here, because they are ghouls.
