We had a conversational interview with Fred Sargeant in two parts, first with Elon Musk’s technology and then with Zoom’s. This was an amazing opportunity to get him on the record about historical negation and revisionism of the gay liberation movement; the familiar sense of loss in the AIDS crisis resonating in the new gay/lesbian conversion therapy; and the need for a new generation of historians and activists to hold the organizations which committed this atrocity to account. He is a primary source in our project refuting the lucrative myths of the Pride™ industry, so it was vital that we got him on the record.
