Gender Cult Shifts From Lying About Hate Crimes To Exalting Suicide
The manufacture of a 'nonbinary' martyr goes off the rails
Owasso High School student Dagny Benedict died of a self-administered overdose of antidepressants and antihistamines, the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled.
A summary report released yesterday says that Benedict died after ingesting a toxic combination of two medications, one of them known to be commonly prescribed to ‘trans youth.’ Full autopsy results will be released on 27 March, according to Oklahoma City ABC affiliate KOCO.
For five weeks, LGBTQAlphabetical activists around the country have spread falsehoods about the circumstances of Benedict’s death in order to blame critics of gender ideology for her supposed murder by transphobic students.
Police knew better all along. “From the beginning of this investigation, Owasso Police observed many indications that this death was the result of suicide,” the Department said in a statement yesterday. “However, investigators did not wish to confirm that information without the final results” of the autopsy.
“The 16-year-old student's death has sparked international attention as well as local and federal investigations,” KOCO reports. “The Rainbow Youth Project USA, a national LGBTQ youth suicide prevention organization, saw a 283% increase in crisis calls from Oklahoma in the weeks since Benedict's death.”
Body-cam video released by Owasso police revealed that Benedict was very much alive after she had a fight with other girls in a school bathroom.
In the video, Benedict responds to “Dagny” and she/her pronouns. She admits that she initiated the fight. At no point does anyone address her as “Nex.”
Instead of ‘protecting trans youth,’ the rainbow mafia has succeeded in riling up children with lies, making them anxious and angry about the other kids in school who supposedly hate them and want them dead, in order to score political points.
A compliant media is still participating in this travesty by using gender neutral “they/them” pronouns for “Nex” Benedict, whom they describe as “nonbinary.”
Upon learning that Benedict did not die of interpersonal violence yesterday, activists responded with denial and anger while blaming her suicide on transphobia.
An overdose “didn't kill Nex Benedict,” progressive author John Pavlovitz wrote on X/Twitter. “The trauma of being bullied by phobic teenagers did.”
Pavlovitz linked to a screed he wrote in February that blamed Republicans for Benedict’s death. The article is dated two days after Owasso police had announced that Benedict’s death was unrelated to the fight at school. Pavlovitz has not corrected or updated the article to reflect any facts.
Like many who reacted badly to the summary report, Pavlovitz made sure to repeat the names of the medications Benedict used, as if he wanted to ensure as many “trans kids” as possible know exactly how to follow her into martyrdom.
Many children pursuing trans ‘identities’ will have access to both ingredients.
Gender clinic whistleblower Jamie Reed tweeted that of the two medications Benedict used, “fluoxetine was the first psychotropic medication we prescribed commonly” to teenagers seeking ‘gender affirming care.’
Reed added that psychotropic drugs “should be handled only by the adults and dispersed to children and adolescents only when they are to be taken and monitored as they are swallowed.”
Fluoxetine and other SSRI antidepressants have also been linked to suicidal ideation, though the science is unclear.
An opportunity to discuss burgeoning public health issues — the overmedication of youth and the necessity of adult supervision with medication — has been lost.
Instead, the United States has endured a moral panic about nonexistent nonbinaryphobia because a blinkered political “community” wanted a martyr.
The ‘trans suicide’ myth is pernicious. It’s also increasingly debunked by solid statistical analysis.
“Minority stress theory,” an idea borrowed from the gay rights movement, holds all of society responsible for the suicide of an individual, which is both deeply irresponsible as public policy and preposterous as a legal theory.
No single cause can explain any suicide.
Dagny Benedict was not a bullied minority. She had a peer group that included LGBTQAlphabetical kids. She had apparently dated a fellow student who identifies as transgender. Supportive teachers and students used they/them pronouns and her nickname, Nex, at school.
This is the very community which created and propagated the lie that Dagny had been beaten to death for being nonbinary.
That bullied her family into agreement that a posthumous cult conversion should be on her headstone.
That nearly tripled crisis calls to hotlines and bragged about it to reporters.
That wants more kids to have all the psychotropic drugs they want, ready at hand, so they can become martyrs of transphobia, too.
They want the instructions put right in the headlines, so the kids will know how.
If the Pride flag mafia cannot have their ‘Trans Floyd,’ they can at least have a slow motion transgender Jonestown.
After all, they have to punish America for not accepting them in the restroom. For passing legislation against puberty blockers and to protect fair and safe sports for women and girls.
We have to be punished for our sins. They’ll show us. They’ll make us sorry.
Good article, but I don't see any exalting going on. Let's not fall victim to the temptation to exaggerate the way our adversaries do.
I'm also curious about the source of the assertion that Benedict was being affirmed as NB by some teachers in school. I haven't seen any credible evidence to that effect, just folks repeating assumptions and wishful thinking.
Based on what we know now it seems possible that her "identity" was something private shared only with friends.
Dyscommunicado
Eye opening article, but I’d like to add a spin: imagine there’s a hideous compliment to Harry Potterland “muffliato” called “dyscommunicado” which renders speech to be gobbledygook. I of course blame the existence of Dyscommunicado entirely on J.K. Rowling.
Let’s remove the dark arts spell
“dyscommuncado”
With the counter-spell
“luicida-sans”
We read:
“Ingesting”: taking
“falsehoods”: lies
“LGBTQAlphabetical activists”: loudmouths
“critics of gender ideology” : ordinary people
“transphobic students”:bullies
“interpersonal violence” : beaten up
“gender neutral”: wrong
“follow into martyrdom”: copy the suicide
“ingredients”: drugs
“fluoxetine was the first psychotropic medication we prescribed commonly”: we usually prescribe the drug Prozac first
“…psychotropic drugs ‘should be handled only by the adults…’ : drugs are an adult responsibility
“dispersed to children”: given to children
“Fluoxetine and other SSRI antidepressants”: drugs to relieve sadness
“ideation”: thoughts
“Minority stress theory”:being different is tough
“a bullied minority”: bullied
I understand what happened, but it’s incredibly hard to pierce the veil of Dyscommunicado
