In the words of people who describe themselves as “Queer,” the religion of Transgenderism exists “so that humanity might share in the act of creation.”

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.”

“Queerness is an act of creation.”

“Being trans is a beautiful sacred thing God created.”

This is the language of Hermeticism, the ancient spiritual movement that includes alchemy, astrology, occultism, theosophy, and magic as understood by the early modern world.

A forthcoming video by Skirt Go Spinny, the anonymous documentarian who brought you What is a Woman? Wrong Answers Only, includes the clip embedded above. Jennifer Bilek is slated to appear in the full version. This clip bolsters our editorial case for understanding ‘gender identity’ as an emergent faith movement.

“We can embody our genders in empowered acts of self-creation.”

“God created trans people so I that could experience my own act of self-creation.”

A person must die to “reconfigure” their material form. To ‘deadname’ a believer in the genderwoo is blasphemy. It even feels like mourning, when you cut off parts of yourself to serve as sacrifices to the god inside you. He/she/it is just waiting to emerge from that sinful cisbody.
